Matthew 6:21
Where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
Responding to God’s Call Through Stewardship
At St. Michael’s Episcopal Church, stewardship is not about fundraising or meeting budgets—it's about spiritual growth and deepening our relationship with God. Everything we have belongs to God, and we are called to be faithful stewards of His gifts. Our annual giving campaign is an opportunity for each of us to reflect on how we can use the resources God has entrusted to us to further His work through our church and community. As you prayerfully consider your annual commitment, we invite you to ask: What is God calling you to do in terms of your personal stewardship in life?
Why is Annual Giving Important? The spiritual foundation of annual giving is rooted in our response to God’s grace. By making a pledge, we acknowledge that everything we have—our time, talents, and treasure—comes from God. Our giving is a way to express gratitude for the countless blessings we’ve received and to support the ongoing ministry of St. Michael’s, both within our parish and beyond.
Annual giving enables us to:
Stewardship is a Journey of Faith
Our annual giving campaign, based on the principles of Consecration Sunday, invites each of us to grow in our faith and stewardship. Rather than focusing on simply raising money, we are called to consider proportional giving—the idea that it’s not the size of the gift that matters most, but what the gift represents in relation to what God has given us.
We encourage every parishioner to reflect on how their giving represents a meaningful portion of their financial resources. Whether you’re a long-time supporter or considering making a pledge for the first time, this is a time to grow in your stewardship and align your financial priorities with your faith.
Ways to Give
Annual giving can take many forms. We invite you to give generously, knowing that your commitment will help sustain the work of St. Michael’s today and into the future. You can pledge to give weekly, monthly, or annually.
Additionally, we encourage everyone to consider the spiritual practice of tithing—giving 10% of your income as an expression of gratitude for God’s abundant blessings. If you are not yet ready to tithe, start by giving a percentage of your income and gradually increase it over time.
Transformational Stewardship
At St. Michael’s, we believe that more than raising money, stewardship is about growing in discipleship. Our giving should reflect our commitment to God’s Kingdom, and through our gifts, we partner with God in bringing hope, healing, and reconciliation to the world.
As Jesus taught us in Matthew 6:21: Where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. Our hearts follow our treasure, and by investing in God’s work through St. Michael’s, we grow closer to God and deepen our commitment to living out His will in our lives.
How to Make Your Pledge

Annual giving enables us to:
- Worship together in a sacred space where generations have gathered to praise God.
- Serve our community through outreach ministries that provide hope and support to those in need.
- Nurture the next generation by fostering spiritual growth in our children, youth, and preschool programs.
- Sustain and care for our campus, ensuring our facilities continue to serve as a beacon of God’s love.
