Now Hiring: Sunday Nursery Worker

We are seeking a caring and dependable Nursery Worker to join our church team on Sundays. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with young children in a safe, nurturing, and faith-centered environment.
Position Details:

Sundays only
$25/hour (2-hour minimum per shift)
Flexible scheduling based on service times

Responsibilities:

Provide attentive care for infants and toddlers
Ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming nursery space
Engage children with age-appropriate activities
Communicate kindly and professionally with parents

Qualifications:

Experience caring for young children preferred
Warm, patient, and responsible demeanor
Ability to pass a background check
Complete online Safe Church training
Age 18 years and older

Children’s Sunday School Program
Children’s Sunday School is held at 10:30 AM during the school calendar year, with a break during the summer months. It is for children ages 3 -12 years of age. Children are reunited with their parents before Communion. The program is led by trained and certified volunteer parents. Volunteers are always welcome--no experience needed. Teachers are required to be Safe Church, Safe Communities certified.

At St. Michael's, we know that children and youth are not only the future of the church but they are the church today! Gatherings outside of Sunday worship happen monthly in and around the Northshore. To connect with the youth group, contact the Church Office.
