About Us
With Christ’s love, the St. Michael’s family invites all to engage and transform the community through worship, service, and education.
In the Episcopal Church, all are welcome, regardless of previous religious affiliation, race, marital status, sexual orientation, or gender identity. At St. Michael's, we believe we are the Episcopal Branch of the Jesus Movement in Mandeville and the Northshore. We live out our Baptismal Covenant through our worship, service, and education in an accepting, progressive community.
We believe God is calling all people into community where we can worship, discover, and use the gifts with which God has endowed us and find healing, spiritual nourishment, and companions in ministry. At St. Michael’s, people truly care for one another in the abundance of Christ’s grace, love and mercy. In this spirit, we would love to get to know you. Although not the largest congregation in our area, we are committed to loving the Lord our God with all our heart, mind, and soul and loving our neighbor as ourselves. We hope you will join us in this journey. We are located in southeastern Louisiana in the midst of the piney woods on the northern shore of Lake Pontchartrain in Mandeville. Our 12-acre campus houses both our church and one of the premier preschools on the Northshore, St. Michael’s Episcopal Preschool.
